How to Clear Your Search History
Clearing your search history depends on the device and browser or service you are using. Here are general steps for the most common platforms:
On Web Browsers
- Google Chrome:
- Click the three dots at the top right.
- Select History > History.
- Click Clear browsing data.
- Select the time range and ensure Browsing history is checked.
- Click Clear data.
- Mozilla Firefox:
- Click the three lines at the top right.
- Select History > Clear Recent History.
- Choose the time range and details to clear.
- Click OK.
- Microsoft Edge:
- Click the three dots at the top right.
- Select History > Clear browsing data.
- Select what you want to clear and click Clear now.
On Search Engines
- Google Account:
- Go to Google My Activity.
- Click Delete activity by on the left menu.
- Select the time range or choose All time and click Delete.
- Bing:
- Go to Microsoft Privacy Dashboard.
- Sign in and select Search history.
- Click Clear all search history.
On Mobile Devices
